James joined the Estate in 2014, having previously worked for seven years with a leading national firm of property consultants and chartered surveyors in the Midlands. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.
As Estate Surveyor, James is responsible for many of the operational matters across the Estate, including the letting and management of property within the agricultural, commercial and residential portfolios.
After growing up in the West Country, James attended the Royal Agricultural University and studied Rural Land Management before qualifying as a chartered surveyor and rural valuer. Outside work, his spare time is spent with his young and busy family.
