The Community Furniture Project in Newbury applied for funding to help buy a new van. They said “We have now purchased a replacement 3.5-tonne collection and delivery vehicle. This would not have been possible without your generous donation. This replacement van is essential to enable us to run our core furniture project operations more efficiently and therefore will enable us to generate more income to contribute towards funding projects for disabled and disadvantaged people in our local community.”
We are a long established, family-owned business managing a diverse range of land and property interests. We take pride in our heritage, including the contribution we make to the local economy, the environment and local communities.
The Englefield Estate manages 14,000 acres of mainly rural land and property in West Berkshire. We are hands on in the management of our farming, forestry and property interests and take a long-term view of good stewardship, investment and building strong local relationships.
The Englefield Estate has never operated in isolation. We are acutely aware of the importance of being good neighbours and playing an active role in matters that affect the community.
